A judge in Philly sent Beans back to prison for 3 months and tacked on another year of probation to his sentence after failing a drug test. Sigel says it’s all due to the fact that he’s not making much money as of late.

According to Sigel, he only makes 14 cents per album sold, and with his current probational restrictions, he can’t even tour to help promote his album and/or make a little extra dough.

14 cents? Even selling 100k out the gate you’re only making 14k. Add to that the fact that most people need to make double that in a year and that Beanie doesn’t drop more than one album per year, and well, he might as well go flip some burgers.

Even more proof that it’s a fucked up system all around.

Here’s an ancient Chinese riddle for ya. Why would someone who has an album out and 1 month left of probation would do something to end up behind bars again and end up with 18 more months of probation? Publicity Stunt or stupidity.

Beanie Sigel found guilty Wednesday of a second probation violation for taking a trip to Atlantic City, N.J., and for being in contact with a convicted felon, according to the Associated Press.

Sigel was sentenced to 1 day in federal prison and had his probation, which was due to end next month, extended by 18 months by U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick.

The first six months of the probation are to be served in a halfway house, ending Sigel’s ability to travel to promote his new album “The Solution.”

And why would he need to with the press doing it for him? He’s once again the “bad guy” that wannabes look up to. They’ll buy it.
