Kanye Plat, Curtis Struggling, Ultimate Flop

This week marks the second that both Kanye West and 50 Cent’s third albums are out. Kanye’s second week sales vault him over the Platinum mark, while 50’s sales put him in the 820-850k mark. For anyone else that’d be miraculous, but for a guy who went platinum in a short week just 2 years ago, that’s shameful. Both artists saw about an 80% drop in sales from the first week.
It also marks the first week for Chamillionaire’s “Ultimate Victory”. Chamillionaire pushed around 80,000 copies of his CD this week. Better than some, but hardly a strong debut.
