Kanye bitter with Jigga?

-Tuesday, July 8th, 2008-

Remember when Amy Crackhouse dissed Kanye over at Glastonbury? Well, Jigga responded to it, but apparently Kanye didn’t feel his words were enough:

Jay Z responded to Amy’s comment towards Kanye:

“I don’t agree with it. [Kanye’s] my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-A-Fella right now. … I guess I should hook them up, because he’s a great guy, too. I don’t know what the problem is. I don’t know where that came from.”

According to sources, in normal Kanye fashion, he threw a fit after hearing Jay’s comment in response to Amy’s outburst. Insiders revealed Kanye felt Jay could have said a lot more than he did.

The latest actions could be signs of trouble to come in the dynasty. On his personal blog, where Kanye keeps fans updated on his life, had the following to say:

” NAS IS THE GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME”…..

Thems be fighting words!

Jigga man brings down UK Ticket Sales?

-Wednesday, April 16th, 2008-

In the past, Britain’s music festival has been so popular that tickets for it sell out in mere hours after being available. This year, the organizing party decided to bill “American” Jay-Z to headline it, and tickets have yet to sell out. Noel Gallagher (of Oasis, they headed the show in 95 and 04) blames it on rap:

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” Gallagher said in an interview, an audio of which was posted to the British Broadcasting Corp.’s Web site Monday. “If you break it, people ain’t gonna go. I’m sorry, but Jay-Z? … No chance. … I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. No way. No. It’s wrong.

Must be a double slap in the face for a man used to selling out stadium status venues.

Jim Jones still isn’t on speaking terms with Killa Cam but he’s making moves of his own. Jones reveals that Diplomatic Immunity 3 is in the works and that he has a special collabo album coming up:

Jim Jones and Styles P yesterday (December 16) announced that they will be releasing an album together via Koch Records during an interview with British hip hop radio host Tim Westwood on BBC’s 1Xtra.

“Me and Styles got an album coming out,” Jones revealed. “The Ghost and The Capo, NYC to the fullest! It’s a good thing, shout out to Koch, they giving up that paper, so why not?”

“They say there is not a lot of unity where we come from. [Jim] represents a strong army and I represent a strong army, so there is money to be made,” added Styles P. “ He’s been on the grind a long time, I’ve been on the grind a long time and besides music there isn’t too many artists I bump with in the industry. Me and Jim we’ve had a relationship over the years, we see each other in the hood and we’ve kicked it. Somebody gotta put the city on their back , so we gonna put it on our backs.”

When asked about what he’d do if Hov went to Sony and was an overseer of his project:

“If you remember the movie Backstage [where] Dame Dash was barking on Kevin Liles, If Jay take that position, he will be Kevin Liles and I’ll be barking on him.”
