Remember when Amy Crackhouse dissed Kanye over at Glastonbury? Well, Jigga responded to it, but apparently Kanye didn’t feel his words were enough:
Jay Z responded to Amy’s comment towards Kanye:
“I don’t agree with it. [Kanye’s] my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-A-Fella right now. … I guess I should hook them up, because he’s a great guy, too. I don’t know what the problem is. I don’t know where that came from.”
According to sources, in normal Kanye fashion, he threw a fit after hearing Jay’s comment in response to Amy’s outburst. Insiders revealed Kanye felt Jay could have said a lot more than he did.
The latest actions could be signs of trouble to come in the dynasty. On his personal blog, where Kanye keeps fans updated on his life, had the following to say:

It turns out that Kanye is as critical of his videos as he is of his production. The video we all saw (and some beat their meat to) a while back was the third one ‘ye made for “Flashing Lights”. The video above is the second, and the one below is the first.
Apparently Kanye didn’t like the videos and then made the third, but someone leaked the others and got Kanye so pissed he’s using fucked up grammar:
I shot 3 vids for ‘Flashing Lights’ cuz I ain’t like the first 2. I loved the 3rd one that I released with Spike [Jonze] and hit the world with that. So I hope whoever leaked them got the shine they was looking 4 cause that’s all they’ll get now. And I know that’s incorrect english but that’s how I talk when I want 2.
For ages Kanye stans have defended Kanye’s obvious (and increasing) homosexuality by saying he “Just has his own style” and naturally “How can he be gay if he’s engaged to Alexis Phifer?”. Well, yes, he has a weird style, and while we still believe you can be as queer as anything while pretending to be a heterosexual relationship, it doesn’t matter anymore.
Kanye West and Alexis Phifer (whom he was engaged to since 2006) have split. Alexis confirmed to People.com:
It’s always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends. I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met.

A “D’Mystro”, real name Dayna Staggs, is suing Kanye and The Roc for 85% of all revenue generated by his hit “Good Life”. According to TMZ:
Staggs says that West “didn’t obtain a license to use ‘Volume of Good Life’” for his tune, and points out that Kanye was “only at the age of 6 or 7 years of age [sic]” when his song was written.
Oh, it gets better. As if anticipating a judge raising an eyebrow, Stagg adds:
Kanye’s song “contains vulgar and offensive” images and “harms the reputation” of his much cleaner song.

‘Flashing Lights’ is about a superstar who is caught cheating with another woman while traveling on business. He tries to apologize to his girlfriend by telling her how much he cares about her, but is unsuccessful.
The video shows us just how unsuccessful the superstar was as we see his girlfriend killing him in the trunk of her car.
Seeing how Kanye not only waxed dat ass in domestic record sales, but scooped up a grammy or two like they were candybars at the checkout line — I guess it’s only fair to throw Mr Cent a friggin bone.
Rap superstar 50 Cent won an Echo Award for 2008’s Best International Hip Hop/R&B artist. The German music awards show, which also nominated Ciara, Kanye West, R. Kelly and the Beastie Boys in that category, took place on Friday in Berlin.
Congrats Fiddy. It’s fitting seeing how overseas is the only place he outsold Kanye.
As if to rain on his parade though, G-Unit’s album has been pushed back to June (way to effectively utilize gained buzz genius) and his movie “Righteous Kill” has been pushed back from April to late fall. Ouch.
Yesterday what appears to be a snippet of Kanye’s new “Flashing Lights” video hit the web. It was short, a bit confusing and had nothing to do with the song — but everyone remembered the ass in the video. “Who owns those asscheeks” everyone wondered.

Alright, I’ve been sitting on this one for a few days, because I needed confirmation. This was apparently revealed in an interview with GQ, and since I don’t read that shit, I wouldn’t be finding out that way…
In any case, it’s looking like this is now truth:
“It was a complete publicity stunt. It was my idea,” West blurted out to GQ. “I knew it was going to take off as soon as we were going to come out on the same date. Think about it - you got the two biggest s**t-talkers in rap history. There’s no-one in rap history for talking more s**t than me and 50. That’s something I will stand on.”
When asked about 50’s vow to retire, West added, “Oh man, he sold so many more records by saying that. Man, 50 is really one of my favorite rappers, too. I almost feel bad (about beating him).”
We’ve been duped again! I mean, we all knew it was a publicity stunt, but I’ll admit, this surprised me because Kanye was the one who talked the least shit during this whole thing. I really would’ve put my money on 50 or Jay being behind it.
Based on how 50 acted after his record dropped though (melancholy, and just plain tired and annoyed), I guess I can see it being the case. The man felt used!
For the first time since his mother’s passing, Kanye finally manages to get through “Hey Mama” without breaking down and crying. You can tell he rushed the SHIT outta it tho… hold those tears Kanye!
