The verdict is in folks. Remy Man has been sent up north for 8 years. 8 goddamn years! According to reports Papoose flipped out after sentencing and had to be escorted from the courthouse.
Now, I’m not saying he snitched or anything, but how does T.I. get off with simple speeches and Remy get 8 years? Accidental firing of a gun vs a multi-felone being equipped for war and assassinations?

In the wake of Remy’s surprising conviction and subsequent jailing, Papoose opened up to MTV stating
We always wanted to keep our personal lives personal, so that’s why we never went public with our relationship. Right now, I just feel like she gotta live through me. Yes, we were scheduled to be married on a yacht April 27th. But due to circumstances beyond our control, we are now making arrangements to be married in prison.
A messed up situation indeed. Considering what their kids may have looked like, it’s probably all for the best.
So I guess it had nothing to do with 50 at all hmmm. I can’t see someone fighting over Remy Ma though. “Oh My! You must be misinformed!”

There’s 3 sides toe very story. For those that missed it… in all the hoopla surrounding the Pap Vs Crack altercation, some details emerged that ya boy Cassidy may have been the one to set it all up. Cassidy stopped by Miss Jones to tell his side:

On Thursday February 28, 2008 Rapper 50 Cent was hosting New York City Radio and had Invited several rappers to join him on the show including Max B, Papoose and Remy Ma. While 50 Cent was interviewing Max B, Papoose walked into the studio. When Max B went to say whats up to him and give him a pound thats when Papoose told him “put your hand away, what’s up with that slick shit you was saying about Kay Slay on the internet?” Before Max B could reply, Papoose went to approach him, but fortunately 50 Cent was able to get in the middle of the two rappers and seperate them.
The Next day…
On Friday Feb 29 in North Corolina Papoose,Cassidy,Fat Joe,Gucci Mane,Yo Gotti,and Fabolous were booked to perform at The Criquet Arena. Before the show could go on, the Main Event happened earlier at The Holiday Inn Hotel in North Carolina, where the rappers had been staying at .Sources from Cassidy’s crew tell us that Cassidy had asked Papoose to come to his room so they could talk. Papoose eventually came to his room and while the two rappers were talking, all of the sudden Fat Joe and 9 Members of his Entourage storm right into Cassidy’s room. Fat Joe suddenly starts yelling at Papoose, “You Got A Problem With Me?” and Papoose replied, “No, do you have a problem?” When Fat Joe responds ” yeah, I got a problem with you,” thats when Papoose swung at Fat Joe, punching him in the face twice. Before you knew it all hell broke loose. Sources tell us that Fat Joe and his crew rushed the rapper and Hotel security had to seperate the fight before Law Enforcement could get to the Hotel. Sources tells us that they heard Papoose yelling at Joe, “Come on Bitch ass nigga lets take this shit outside give me a fair one.”
Now, as hilarious as this shit would be if true, we have to remember, that while 50 Cent has a venture deal with thisis50.com, it’s essentially run by a group of young bloggers and you should take any rumors with a grain of salt.

Yes this is old as hell (obviously) but I re-stumbled across this the other day and felt I’d be doing you nappy headed hoes a disservice by not sharing.
This is easily one of the hottest award show performances in recent years. X, Banks, Papoose and Eminem just straight murdered it. How the hell this nigga did a performance like this and still flopped is beyond me.
I can tell ya one thing tho… Busta is prolly thinking “No more G-Unit collabos… them niggas crazy son”.

So it looks like all stories (including Pap’s) weren’t completely accurate. DefSounds managed to once again get their grubby mitts on the supposed video that was being filmed when Papoose and his crew were accosted. It’s hard to tell who is who, so even if real, the full story is still a mystery.
Papoose finally responds to all the rumors about him getting jumped, beat down, accosted or whatever the fuck else you want to call it. Notice he never denies beating anyone else’s ass though.

Okay, so it’s been a little bit silent on the Pap front since the whole Uncle Burger situation went down over the summer. Looks like Papoose is at it again though. Last week, when he was dropping his boy off to a shorty’s crib, he was allegedly accosted by four men. It went like this: Pap pulled over and some cats in good old, friendly midtown Manhattan (shout out to Iron) asked Pap to do a drop for their DVD magazine. Papoose, of course, being a man of great integrity (and badly needing some press) didn’t refuse the opportunity and when he exited his vehicle to oblige the men’s request, he found himself in a melee.
This in fact was an attempted ambush. After a few seconds of fighting, sources say that Papoose went into his car, grabbed a bat and started to go Rambo first blood on these bad boys. Pap and his homies chased the kids until they themselves were apprehended and detained by police for six hours. People are saying the cops held onto Pap and his camp for so long because they refused to cooperate.
Hmmm. Something sounds fishy here, doesn’t it? Pap was either set up by his boys or the girl who’s house he was dropping his man off at! Sounds very suspect to me! Good to hear no one was hurt more then minor cuts and bruises. People are saying that Pap even got one of the cameras from the crew that tried to get him and his boys, but we heard that before. “It’s on tape.” Then we don’t see sh– on Youtube. Propaganda is such a powerful tool.
This report could also be bullshit, but that’s all I could dig up. apparently this thing is pretty hush hush at the moment.
