Our guys over at DefSounds went to the listening party and wasn’t too impressed. On the other hand, Miss Info reports that the album is “More for those who liked Sabrina’s Baby Boy more than Curtis” (throw me into that bunch). In any case, with their rep under fire, one would think that the unit would be going all out on this one.
50 also reportedly took shots at T.I. on the album, putting into words what we all were thinking:
“Nowaways this rap shit aint adding up. How n—-s get caught with 10 machine guns, only get 12 months?
Oo-weee, don’t talk to me. If you talking to him, you talking to them…
I got the best lawyers that money can buy….they say at best they woulda got me 10 or maybe 9.
I said, how do you explain how the homie breezed? They said, you keep your mouth shut or you eat the cheese.”
Other than that, expect a few shots at Wayne from Buck, and a lot of grittiness.
I like how banks responds to the “The Whole G-Unit” comment with “Yeah, Me, Yayo & 50″. Sadly, even when asked questions, Yayo has no other purpose than to be a hype man. Nothing new there.
We all knew it wasn’t over. Apparently not happy with the outcome of the case where Yayo stood accused of bitch-smacking her son, the wife of Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond is striking again. According to the Daily News:
The mom of a teen boy who says he was smacked around by Tony Yayo, a member of 50 Cent’s G-Unit posse, is suing the rap stars for a big bucks payout.
The suit by angry mom Cynthia Reed also targets Fletcher, several record companies and 50 Cent, who wasn’t in New York during the street scrap and not charged.
….
Fitty’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, said Reed is just looking for “a quick payday.”
Yayo’s lawyer released a statement earlier today regarding the slap-slapping of Jimmy’s son that occurred last March:
I am pleased to announce that as of this morning, Tony YaYo is no longer facing any criminal charges relating to the incident that occured last March. As I told you from the beginning, Tony YaYo would never do anything to harm a child. This fact was confirmed by Mr. Fletcher when he told members of the notorious Hip Hop police in August that he did this on his own.
But haawld awnnn just a minute there! The lil negus’s Mother is countering with her own lil statement:
In court today, 50 Cent sidekick Marvin Bernard (Tony Yayo) of the group G-Unit, and sidekick Lawell Fletcher accepted a guilty plea. They both admitted that after coming out of Chris Lighty’s Violator office they jumped out of an SUV and confronted a minor named James Rosemond for wearing a Czar Entertainment shirt. Fletcher will do nine months in jail while Marvin Bernard will do 60 days of community service for his role in the assault against a minor.
I like how she threw in the sidekick jab, but who is telling the truth here? And if Yayo is innocent, will the judge allow him to slap the shit outta mother Rosemond for running her mouth?
According to Whoo Kid’s site, Tony Yayo has been filming for a reality show and clips should leak in a few weeks:
Tony’s Reality show is now under development with the help of his Haitain brother Whoo Kid. Preview will be leaked to Youtube in a couple weeks. See how this crazy Gunit member wilds out from Europe to NY. Tour life, Rapper Life, Family Life and Court Cases will be seen and show you who the real Tony Yayo is.
That should be good. In other Whoo Kid news, he’s doing Lil Kim’s “highly anticipated” mixtape. Anyone else find the whole Kim, Remy, and G-Unit triangle weird?
iight, I admit, I admit, this is old. But you know how shit comes up in your iTunes that you forgot about and you just have to laugh your ass off at it? Well this is one of them. Peep Yayo go off on this hatin’ ass caller:
In a recent interview, Tony Yayo, the underdog of the G-Unit camp finally comes out and says what many have been thinking for a while:
“I don’t have a problem with calling 50 Cent my boss. My second solo project, I wanna call it I’m 50’s Tax Write-Off. The reason why is because it’s the truth. Everytime 50 makes money, I make motherf—in’ money… He’s the one who changed my life.”
According to Yayo, he came up with the idea for the title while watching “Hannah Montana” on the Disney Channel with his daughter.
Cartoons Yayo? Is that what’s hot in the streets Yayo? *Waits for disney channel rhymes to pop up*
