Philly Cops Fired After Beating The Sh*t outta robbery suspects
Remember way back when we showed you that video of cops chasing down some robbers and beating them senseless? Well, there was a mixed opinion on whether or not they were justified amongst you little peons, but unlike in the Sean Bell case, the city has actually taken action.
Three of the Philadelphia police officers caught on camera assaulting a number of shooting suspects were fired by the city’s Commissioner. Four other officers will face discliplinary action for their role in the beating that’s sparked nationwide outrage; eight more are scheduled to undergo training for excessive force.
Surprisingly enough, the mayor is coming under fire for taking the above actions. He defends himself in the video above.

I applaud Mayor Nutter for this. He didn’t back down from his statements and did the right thing. Philly is real fucked up right now and if they expect people to act right or expect punishment they should enforce the same on the police. The most fucked thing was when the cop was killed with an assualt rifle a couple weeks back, the fucked part wasn’t that a cop died but how they responded. Cops were on every block looking out. Why does this only happen when a COP dies? People get shot and killed in Philly at almost everyday of the year, why does it take a cop getting killed for the police to actually give a shit? Why is a cop’s life more important that they have to react this way? If cops were out on the block everyday looking for killers like they were when the officer died, Philly would have a lot less of a death toll at the end of the year. They also thought that the officer dying gave them an excuse to act like the jerkoffs they are and beat the shit out of people. Well at least Mayor Nutter is letting the Philly cops know youre not gunna get away with that shit.

Aiight, let me start of by saying that I have been assaulted by an undercover police officer in Queens. Police brutality and violence is a daily reality for a lot of us.
With that said…..

WTF!?!?! I didn’t even do ANYTHING and I got assaulted. (cop pulled up in a brand new impala 3 deep, so I figured it wasnt a cop…dude stopped next to me at a red light and just started grillin, its queens someone grills u, u see whats poppin right? Well I tell him whats poppin call dude a bitch, he throws on his lights and pulls me to the side, hops out the car runs up to the window and begins beating me with his flashlight SMFH) ANYWAYS like I was saying….I didnt even do nothin and IVE been assaulted. I know others that have been assaulted….shiii I Know guys that got assaulted when they were still MINORS!!!!

mr eco - I don’t think anyone believes that we don’t need the police, most people would agree that we do need some form of law enforcement, but we would simply like them to not beat the shit out of people innocent or guilty (in my opinion). The mayor was right for pretty much saying the beatings won’t be tolerated, but he’s an asshole for trying to defend the officers by saying “the suspects were resisting!”.
